With the approval of the Education Council of the National Republic of Serbia, the People's Committee of the Svetozarevo district established a boarding school on July 13, 1957. The school started on September 1, 1957.

The boarding school was established when there was a school. All students were also residents of the boarding school. Only students who lived with their parents and the distance between the apartment and the school did not exceed 2 kilometers were exempted from the obligation to live in the dormitory.

There are 72 students enrolled in two classes. The students were trained for the general profession of agricultural technician. A year after the establishment of the school, a two-year livestock vocational school with practical training was established within the school. The veterinary technician has been studying since 1981.

Two years after the establishment of the school, the construction of the school building began. On May 1, 1960, it was completed and built. Along with the construction of the school, students and teachers built a park on 4.5 hectares of land and planted it with conifers, ornamental trees and shrubs.

Immediately after the establishment of the agricultural school, a bank, a bakery, a dairy, a turner and a barber were created for the students.

The agricultural school soon became a leader in introducing modern agricultural and animal husbandry practices in this region of our country. We set records in the production of agricultural products, we were the first to introduce purebred cattle, we were the first in this region to have a wheat harvester.
